      The name of our agency "East+West" is symbolic and has two sides to it. Probably, the younger generation of the North American men and Slavic women are not so impacted by the effect the socialism had on our countries and relations. It's much eaiser now than 20 years ago to date, meet in person, fall in love, and get married a Russian or Ukrainian girl. You can exchange emails, phone calls, send flowers and presents, take a tour and visit your future bride. These dreams would be unthinkable 20 years ago. Many things have changed for good in people's lives since then. Our countries are more open and more accessible to each other. And for thousands of people who were looking for their soul mates far away from their own native countries that dream came true. And celebrating this progress in developing and bringing together our cultures we couldn't think about any better name for our company as "East+West".
      And here is another side to this name. For hundreds of years Slavic women (which include Russian, Ukrainian and Belorussian nationalities) were most sought after brides and they still are. They were glorified in poetry and many volumes of classical literature not only for being devoted wives and nurturing mothers, but for their modesty and intelligence, beauty and charm, for their strong personalities and brilliant education, for their willingness to be by her man through thick and thin. How could a character of a Russian woman get molded this way? It could be because of a favorable geographic position, neither Asia nor Europe, neither East nor West, just in its own unique Slavic way that combined the best of both worlds. East + West.
